I was on my way back from Zal’s place when I accidentally clipped a pigeon with my ride. It was whack. Picture this. I was driving along South Street and then suddenly out of nowhere a pigeon was sitting in the middle of the road. The damn pigeon noticed that a car was coming way too late. Must be morning lag. By the time I realised the pigeon was in my sights, I heard a sudden bump and saw it flying over my car. Please forgive me birds as I have nothing against your species unless you shit on my car. Peace out

I haven’t been updating this blog often enough. Most of the time i can’t be bothered. Well tonight something weird happened at work. I delivered pizza to this guy and he asked me to buy him some cinzano (had no idea wtf that was). He was begging me in a drunken state. Its pathetic to see a man in his mid-forties dressed only with a bathrobe and a pair of jocks on pleading continuously. Grudgingly, I accepted his request and headed off to the nearest bottle shop to get this cinzano. Little did I know, they had 3 versions of it in the shop. Rosso, Dry and something else which is don’t really recall. So I simply chose the bottle that the shop attendant recommended me. I drove back in the pouring rain to the poor man’s house to pass him the cinzano. He then proceeded to ask me how much i wanted for the cinzano. The $50 note he gave me to pay for the pizza, ribs and cinzano was more than enough but he went inside and brought out a huge plastic bag worth of coins. I was pretty shocked. I thanked the man and went on my way.
Now I’m heading off to the car to retrieve my loot. Peace

The time is now 6:55 in the morning and I have just watched the movie City of Angels. It is a beautifully crafted movie about love and life. The song Iris is now playing on my computer and I am listening to it with my new Sennheiser headphones. The lyrics of the song fits the movie perfectly. Sometimes all we really need is love in this life. Life is so beautiful. After watching the movie, I believe without love, life is not worth living for. I think i need to find that love somewhere soon before my soul dies. Sad but true. This is a chic-flick and I don’t deny it. The director Brad Silverburg has done a really good job making this movie. As a film and journalism student, I intend to make a film which has such an impact. It has given me inspiration to start writing a script. Hopefully I can come up with something original. Sometimes life is such a funny thing. The sun is shining brightly in this cold autumn morning and all I’m doing here is complaining. Maybe its due to my lack of sleep. I wonder how my car is doing inside the workshop up in Morley (which by the way is a suburb way up north). Imagine what would have happened if didn’t help a friend out, none of this would have happened. I’m no regretting my actions. I did what I could to be the good guy but in this life, the good guys don’t always win and I accept that. I’m optimistic though that everything will turn out just fine. No point harbouring doubts about something that has already happened. Online retail therapy saved me somewhat. Shopping on eBay is so much fun. I think I have overspent a little, buying stuff on eBay. >< Not good. I think I should try to get some sleep before vacuuming the living room. Good morning world and good night to me. Peace.

Sometimes no matter how much in life all you feel is utter emptiness. That hollow feeling that creeps up to you. You try to run away from it, hide from it, distract yourself from it, but it somehow returns. That is what I’m feeling now. I didn’t sleep the whole night after work even though I was bloody tired. I just watched movies all night and thought about my life. That empty space, that empty chasm. I need to fill it up real soon because if I don’t I might just do something. That something I really have no idea what it is. Moan, whine, bitch, whinge, complain, bitch again. That’s what we humans do sometimes. I try to be perfect but I am in fact flawed. Point is all people sometimes try to do is pick on you. They keep reminding you of your mistakes and all the shit you do but they never ever remember the times you have been nice to them or good to them. The times you have helped them out. The times you have went out of your way to lend a helping hand. This is indeed a cruel world. Thankfully I have a few people left who still appreciate what I do. They might not admit it publicly or openly tell me about it but keep in mind that I still remember that they care. To you guys out there who care. I can’t say thank you enough. Emptiness can equate to fullness. It depends on how u look at, for example a glass of water. It can be half full or half empty. At the end of the day, I wish to look at it as half full. Life is so interesting. Sometimes the worst and darkest moments in life can be the ones that teach you the most and has the greatest impact on you. Staying awake the whole night, I ended up watching 3 movies. The first one was called Pick of Destiny starring Tenacious D which consists of Jack Black and Kyle Gass. A funny movie but very crass and totally mindless. The second was Murderball. Those who haven’t seen it should watch it because it has a very important message to it. The movie documents the life of the members of the paraplegic rugby team from the States. Seeing these men soldier on in life and invest their energy in something positive instead of focusing on their disabilities makes me wonder where they get their inspiration from. It makes me thank god that I am normal. Not trying to sound mean to those physically disabled but I realise how lucky I am to be able bodied. These men accomplish amazing feats which are normal to us. Their courage is commendable. The last movie i watched before driving off to Hungry Jack’s to grab a bite was A Man About Town. Ben Affleck plays a highly successful talent agency director who takes a course that teaches you how to write journals. Even with all his wealth, power and beautiful wife, his life is empty. He ends up having to go through an emotional turmoil just to realise what is really important in life to him. Rebecca Romjin plays his wife. She plays it very well. She has talent =) and errr an amazing figure suffice to say. Until next time, peace be on earth, screw Kim Jong Il, recycle your thrash, stop procrastinating like I do, love your parents, and have a good day.

Now I’m normally not one to get pissed off at people but in this case I am. Last week my car got broken into and a prized possession was stolen. I walked to the car happily to find the window smashed. Tonight I was told that 6 other cars in the student village were broken into. Last Tuesday after supper, I exited the car and locked it up when I happened to see 3 suspicious people hanging around. To be exact, there were two black guys and a white guy who looked all homie-like gangsta. They looked pretty dodgy hanging around the car park in the middle of the night. They drove a suspicious looking black Nissan 300zx. If i get my hands on them I’ll fucking rip their throats out. Campus security should beef up patrols to the car parks. This is a serious problem because students can’t keep on spending money on repairing their cars. I hope Murdoch security will do something about this problem because it is a pain in the ass. Until next time peace out y’all

I simply had to start rambling again mainly because i have never had so much fun in a long time. I realise now I have more friends than i have ever imagined. It was simply amazing. Had a few drinks before the tavern. Dressed in my ‘Sofakingfresh’ tee and a pair of orange shorts, me and me mates had some drinks before proceeding to the main watering hole. Felt really happy because i didn’t have to spend any money on drinks but i ended up spending money for chilli mussels >.< Since it was a beach themed night, there were heaps of people dressed in surf gear and bikinis. My, my what a sight to behold. The only downside was the floor was sticky from all the spilled beer. Its like walking on glue. My feet were stepped on countless times and i have since lost count. All in good fun, a few guys started taking off their shirts. Now, being a shy guy it was very hard for me but in the end, I was forced to take off my tee as well. For about 30 seconds, I felt very embarassed so I slipped my tee back on right after that moment. The crowd at Murdoch Tavern is and always will be good. To all the people that I know, if u ever come to Perth, drop by the tavern just to see for yourself. I guarantee you will not be disappointed. Back to some serious study now i guess. Enforcing a self restraining order ain’t easy but i gotta do it. Peace y’all

Today was a very interesting day I have to say. Indeed it cannot be denied that nature has its own way of responding and ends up disrupting our lives for just a moment. I was in a lecture this morning and for the first time in one and a half years, concentrated on what the lecturer was saying. Murphy’s Law reigned supreme today as a flash thunderstorm greeted the residents of Perth by surprise causing a fair bit of chaos around the campus. After hearing a few thunders groaning away, the fire alarm was triggered by accident. The lecturer was fairly calm and she decided to continue with the lecture while a student left quickly. Everyone suddenly forgot how to deal with the fire drill and stayed back in ECL4. The mysterious intercom came on with the security personnel asking everyone to evacuate the premises in a fairly calm manner. The interesting lecture was cut short and everyone crowded around the ECL building wondering what was going on. Funnily enough there were shrieks and screams coming from the female students as the thunders roared. Some units in the student village actually blacked out for a while. The horror of it all is some laptops and phone lines actually got fried in the process. Lightning is such a wonderful yet scary natural phenomenon. My friend Desmond freaked out when he couldn’t connect to the internet because his network card was fried. His laptop adaptor was fried as well, succumbing to the effects of wild lightning. One lady actually had her personal room phone flung out of its phone line socket with scorch marks on the desk to prove that the lightning was that strong. I hope that the new management actually take into consideration that the whole student village be surged protected. How will the students be compensated for the loss of their laptops. With assignments pouring in everyone needs to start typing them out. Hopefully things will get better. Signing off.

Okay, other than the fact that im turning 21 this year, there are many other things that are happening in the world. Its not too late to make a New Year’s Resolution so here goes. For one i should stop procrastinating about almost everything or anything and that includes updating my blog at least once a week. Let me see, where else should i start. Oh yeah, my other resolutions are pretty standard such as eating healthier and exercising more (doesn’t everyone say that but end of breaking that resolution). I just broke that resolution because I’m staying in a little place called Penang at the moment but in about 2 days I’m leaving for Perth once again. It was fun meeting up with all my friends and hanging out although I couldn’t meet up with everyone because not everyone was back in Penang. One highlight of my year is also getting to know Sue Ann better. This sweet girl from PJ is one very nice girl. Hopefully I get to meet up with her at the end of the year when i come back *fingers crossed*. I’m also happy that my friend Kenneth came back from Singapore for a holiday. I’m not naming names but I know a certain someone who dropped a beer bottle because he had butterfingers. Mna was that funny. Being an emo chubby dude isn’t easy. You tend to get depressed sometimes but i guess im feeling way better than ever before. This year I also believe that we should be thankful for what we have and count our blessings because everything can just disappear one day. The conditions in Iraq are not looking too good even though the US has handed over control to the Iraqi government. Let us pray that things will get better there. A comeback of former boy bands should be forbidden but thank god Take That sounded decent. I secretly harbour thoughts of 911 coming back from the dead. Come on Lee. I also predict that Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears will clean up their acts. Seeing Britney’s punani bared to the world and Lindsay’s alcohol problem ain’t exactly what i would call worthy accomplishments. Paris Hilton is a lost cause and I predict that there is no way so save her. Bless that blond bimbo. I would also like to thank all my friends for supporting me all the way even though I have let them down sometimes. I still regret leaving a certain someone in the bush while walking back from the tavern and that wasn’t exactly a pleasant thing to do. I’ll go back to listening to music from the 80’s until my next post. Sayonara =)

Once again it is the end of the year and as we look back on the year 2006, I can say that there were a lot of significant things that happened throughout the year. Personally I reckon I’ve been through a lot. A few automobile mishaps (yes I can be careless behind the wheel), a great job earning $10 bucks an hour delivering pizzas at Pizza Express, and a bunch of other stuff concerning girls which shall not be mentioned here. Its a miracle though how I managed to pass everything this semester. A lesson to be learned, don’t be tempted to work too much and put your studies off track no matter how high the monetary returns are. I realise now it just isn’t worth it. Another tragedy that happened this year is the floods in Malaysia on Boxing Day. For those of you who don’t know what boxing day is please google it. Torrential rain has caused floods in three states, namely Johor, Malacca and Pahang. It is as if God has spoken once again. This year also marks the second anniversary since the tsunami that rocked Indonesia, India, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Malaysia. Moving on *ahem* since the 3rd of December, Perth is officially one hour ahead due to daylight savings time. I should google the term to get a more accurate definition but for now, all I know is it means that there is the days are longer? On to resolutions, errrrrrr my new years resolutions are still in the making. The usual quit some addiction, eat less fatty food, junk food, and chow down on more greens and fruits are still on the imaginary list. I’m not one to make lists really but i heard it helps. Saddam has been dealt the death sentence after the so-called 30 day window appeal period. Good riddance to that. Of course there are certain parties who protested against the mandatory death sentence by hanging. Oh well i hope everyone has a great year ahead. I know i will. Peace out.

Its very interesting how mamak cuisine is somehow very nice to consume. I reckon its the weirdest experience I have ever had. The conquest started when me, Tubak and Sashi discussed about sup torpedo while playing chor tai tee in SoHo. In my 20 years on this earth, I have never tasted this delicacy from a humble mamak stall. I decided to invite Tubak who also hasn’t tried it to delve into the world of weird mamak delicacies. Sashi was very insistent on us trying out the sup. For those in the know, I’m pretty sure you are well aware of the soup that I am talking about. For those who don’t, I shall explain. It is basically a soup which contains a bull’s penis, hence the word torpedo for added effect. At first, I was very cautious and thought that it was totally gross. I decided that you only live once and trying it won’t cause any harm. As the saying goes, what doesn’t kill you will only make you stronger. Full of enthusiasm, I ordered three Sup Torpedoes. We started digging into the soup. The funny thing is, Kelly wanted to try some. So I let her. She scooped up a piece of cock and put it in her mouth. Unable to overcome the psychological effects of having a penis in her mouth, she spat the chunk of meat out on the table. It looked like a tiny medallion. Her blur friend Cindy then proceeded to ask everyone,"Why the lembu thing so small wan?" I have to admit it was a very weird yet wonderful experience. The bulls wang/cock/dick/penis whatever you want to call it, tasted like tendons. Some pieces even tasted like squid. Overall i would suggest to those who haven’t tried sup torpedo to have a go. You never know when u have to eat a bull’s penis to survive. =) peace out
